Laura joined the Cornerstone Law Offices Team in July 2024 as a Family Lawyer. She has been working predominantly in Family Law for five years where she started out as a Legal Clerk, before moving to head of the Administration team, and then to Paralegal before she made her transition to Lawyer. Her experience from working in the administration and support roles has given Laura a broad understanding of working in a law firm.Laura is incredibly passionate about family law and working towards the best outcome for her clients. She understands that her clients are going through some of the most difficult periods of their life when they come to her, and she brings with her lived experience and a desire to help and support people through the process, so that they can ultimately move forward and past the issues they face.

Laura works closely with the Principal Lawyer, Pravinita Singh-Pillay as part of the Family Law Team.

Laura is passionate about community involvement and giving back and is committed to the work she does with charitable organisations that includes working with victims of Domestic Violence as they work to rebuild their lives with Financial Superwomen and providing support to teens working through mental health issues at with Heal.ed Tribe.

When she is not at work Laura enjoys time with her two adult children. She lets off steam at the end of the day either at the gym or Pilates and enjoys getting out for walks with her four-legged bestie Bambi. Laura also enjoys catching up with friends, reading a good book, writing, travel, eating out and discovering new places.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at College of Law
• Bachelor of Laws at Southern Cross University
• Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Media and Cultural Studies at Liverpool John Moores University
