Land and Building Valuations (LBV) was incorporated by the Principal Valuer, Craig Guinane, who covers various regions across the country providing valuations of varying asset classes.

Craig commenced his valuation career having obtained a Bachelor's degree majoring in Property Economics from the University of Western Sydney and joined Preston Rowe Patterson NSW Pty Limited as a residential valuer and gained considerable valuation experience in retail and commercial properties.  In 2001 Craig obtained accreditation with the Australian Property Institute as a Certified Practising Valuer (Without Limitation). 

In 2024 Craig relocated to Brisbane and joined Herron Todd White (Brisbane Commercial) Pty Ltd, in the role of valuing a broad range of properties throughout Brisbane, predominately for mortgage security purposes.

Seeking more challenging assignments Craig joined CBRE Valuations Pty Ltd in 2007 and then moved to JLL, Brisbane Valuations in 2016, where he was responsible for sourcing new business and undertaking general valuations together with providing compensation assessments and complex financial reports.  As part of the service of providing compensation assessments, Craig also engaged in access negotiations and acquisition of land for infrastructure projects.

Looking for a change during the Covid-19 pandemic, in 2020, Craig joined WBP Group, Brisbane where he gained experience in valuing upper-end and median-priced residential properties within the greater Brisbane Region.

Seeking the flexibility and the opportunities to apply his extensive and specialist valuation expertise, Craig established his own practice of Land and Building Valuations in 2022.
